1. Suction filter: The filter is installed on the suction line of the pump, and the pollutants entering the fuel tank are filtered through the air holes in the oil tank, which has the function of protecting the pump. However, in order to avoid cavitation of the pump, it is necessary to pay sufficient attention to the pressure loss. Typically, a 100-200 mesh thick metal mesh or slit wire is used. Therefore, it is not a filter that controls the level of the system contamination.
2. High pressure pipeline filter:
(1) Located on the outlet pipe of the pump, it has the function of preventing pollutants from entering the system. Therefore, the contaminants in the system can be controlled. However, since it is a high-pressure main line, it is subject to pump pulsation and pressure shock, so the material and strength of the filter element should be choose carefully.
(2) In the system, the filter, also known as the end filter, is installed to protect hydraulic components that are particularly sensitive to contamination. So it tends to be smaller than other filters. Therefore, you should choose a large capacity. In addition, choosing material and strength of the components should be careful as (1).
3. Return filter: It is located on the return line of the system. Its function is to capture contaminants that are generated or invaded in the system before returning to the tank. Therefore, it is the most effective and important filter for controlling system contamination. Although it is a low-pressure pipe, depending on the operating conditions of the transmission, pulsation or pressure shock may occur, so the material and strength of the component should be fully considered.
4. Circulating filter: set on the oil return circuit of the fuel tank. The system has a large capacity and is usually used when strict cleaning is required. Contaminants in the fuel tank can be collected even if the system is not working. In addition, a cooler is installed which has the advantage of being able to perform cooling and be easy to maintain at the same time. However, special pumps and motors are required, which are expensive.
5.Air filter: Installed on the fuel tank to prevent pollutants from mixing into the fuel tank due to changes in the fuel tank. Therefore, the filtration accuracy should have the same performance level as the filter, and the capacity should have sufficient space to prevent the internal pressure of the oil tank from becoming a negative pressure due to clogging of the hole, thereby causing a cavity phenomenon of the pump. Pay special attention when the surrounding environment is bad.
