The difference between soft sealing valve and hard sealing valve

1. Hard seal: The side of the seal pair is made of metal or other hard material. It is called hard seals. Seals have poor sealing properties, but it has resistant to high temperatures, abrasion and mechanical properties.
2. Soft seal: One side of the seal pair is made of metal material and the other side is a flexible non-metallic material called soft seal. The seal has good sealing performance, but is not resistant to high temperature, easy to wear, and has poor mechanical seal ability. A soft seal means that the side of the seal pair is made of a material having a relatively low hardness. Generally, the soft seal seat is made of a non-metallic material having a certain strength, hardness and temperature resistance, and has a good sealing performance. Zero leakage is possible, but life and temperature are less adaptable.

3. The hard seal is made of metal and the sealing performance is relatively poor, although some manufacturers claim to be able to achieve zero leakage.

4. The soft seal cannot meet the process requirements of some corrosive materials, but can solve the problem of hard sea! The two seals can complement each other, the soft seal is better in sealing, but now the hard seal can meet the corresponding requirements!

5. The advantage of soft seal is that the sealing performance is good; the disadvantage is easy aging, wear and short service life. Hard seals have a long service life, but the seal is relatively poor.
